Bank of the Valley Opens Full Service Branch in Schuyler

Construction has wrapped up at the site of Bank of the Valley’s Schuyler Branch location, and the Bank opened its doors to the public on September 26th, 2022.

“I’m extremely excited to show off our new, state-of-the-art facility to the residents of Colfax County,” says Nolan Samek, Bank of the Valley’s Community President of the Schuyler Branch. “The community of Schuyler has welcomed us with open arms and we very much look forward to continuing to build relationships, support the community and schools, and help people achieve their goals.”

The Bank of the Valley Schuyler Branch is a full-service facility with eight full time and two part time employees. Several members of the Schuyler team are long-time residents of the Schuyler Community, such as Loan Assistant Amy Short. “I hope everyone comes to check out our new Branch!” says Amy, “I look forward to seeing you and I’m excited to be serving our Community that I’ve been proud to call home my entire life.”

Lobby Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 10:30am. Drive Thru hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 8:00am to 10:30am.

The Schuyler Bank of the Valley Branch is the Bank’s first location in Colfax County and the city of Schuyler. The Bank’s first location opened in Bellwood in 1984, expanding then to David City in 1996 and Platte Center in 2007. Further growth occurred when the Bank purchased Farmer’s State Bank in Humphrey in July 2016, and then when they transitioned their Columbus Loan Production facility to a full-service branch in August 2018. Bank of the Valley opened their sixth Branch location in downtown David City in September 2020.
