Schuyler Branch Coming Soon!

January 5, 2021

Bank of the Valley has begun the process of constructing its newest Branch location in Schuyler, Nebraska.  This will be the Bank’s seventh Branch, and the third county in which it has a facility.

“We are excited for the opportunity to expand our footprint to the Schuyler Area, and for the chance to form new and lasting partnerships within the community,” says Bank of the Valley’s Senior Executive Vice President John M DuBray III. “As a community Bank, we have a personal interest in building relationships so that we can meet and exceed our customers needs and expectations.”

The Bank of the Valley – Schuyler Branch will be located at 559 Road 11, just East of the new Schuyler Elementary School. Construction will begin in the spring of 2021, and is projected to be completed by the end of the year/beginning of 2022. The new Branch will offer a full line of products and services for individual, agricultural and commercial customers.

“The community of Schuyler has a rich agricultural history and a focus on growth that fits the culture of Bank of the Valley extremely well,” Loan Officer Galen Kehrli says. “Our Bank’s roots run deep, and yet we remain passionate about expanding our reach and serving an even bigger and more diverse base of customers. We will always be the local Bank where you are treated like family, no matter what size we grow to be.”

Bank of the Valley most recently opened their sixth Branch location in downtown David City in September 2020. The Bank got its start with their first location in Bellwood in 1984, expanding then to David City in 1996 and Platte Center in 2007. Further growth occurred when the Bank purchased Farmer’s State Bank in Humphrey in July 2016, and then transitioned their Columbus Loan Production facility to a full-service branch in November 2018.
