Bank of the Valley Set to Move Into New Columbus Facility April 6th

Bank of the Valley has set their first day of operations in their newly built Columbus Facility to be April 6, 2018. This move comes after approximately 10 months of construction began across the road at their current location on 33rd Avenue north of the Lost Creek Parkway.

“This new facility gives us an opportunity to provide more convenience for all customers of the Bank, with amenities such as expanded hours and drive up services. It will also assist many of our existing customers from our other Bank locations who commute to Columbus for work and other activities,” says Columbus Community President, John DuBray.

The new hours of operation for Bank of the Valley’s Columbus location will be Monday through Friday 9:00am – 4:30pm and Saturday 9am – 11am in the lobby. Drive up services will be available Monday through Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm and Saturday 7:30am – 11:30am.

Bank of the Valley was first started in Bellwood in 1984, and has since grown to 5 locations in Butler and Platte Counties. Their David City location was established as a Loan Production Office in 1996, and then became full service in their current location in 1998. Further expansion came in 2007 when Bank of the Valley merged with Platte Center Bank. The Columbus Branch began as a Loan Production office in 2013, and then became full service in 2015. The Bank added their most recent Branch in Humphrey in 2016 with the purchase of Farmer’s State Bank.

Bank of the Valley is a community Bank offering a full range of personal, agricultural, and business banking services. They are online at, and on FaceBook, LinkedIn and Twitter. They are a Member FDIC, Equal Housing Lender.
