Bellwood:

Bellwood is bringing the children of Bellwood some Warm & Fuzzies this holiday season. They are requesting new hats, mittens, undergarments, sweatpants and socks. Some wish list items include: water proof snow gloves , undergarments for boys and girls, sweatpants or leggings, snow pants and a variety of socks *Girls size xs-xl / Boys xs-xl- Children grades K-6*. Please bring items to the Bellwood Branch by December 15th . Join them  in making sure the children of Bellwood stay warm this winter season!

David City:

Our David City location is hosting a Giving Tree at their branch, in coordination with St. Joseph’s Villa and David Place. These two organizations provide quality skilled nursing care and support for the elderly and disabled and their families in our community. Anyone is welcome to visit the Bank of the Valley – David City lobby and take an angel from the Christmas tree there. Fulfill that wish list item and bring the gifts back to Bank of the Valley with the angel attached by December 15th so that they can be distributed in time for the holidays.

Platte Center:

Our Platte Center branch is spreading some holiday cheer with the gift of song! Jamie, Andy, Rhonda, Kelli, and Tami will be going door to door in Platte Center on December 17th to sing Christmas Carols and spread a little joy this holiday season.

Columbus:

Our Columbus location has partnered with Center for Survivors to hold a holiday donation drive for non-perishable food, hygiene products and hotel-friendly toys for little kids. The Center provides FREE assistance to victims of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in Butler, Polk, Platte, Nance, Boone, and Colfax Counties. All are welcome to come by the Bank of the Valley – Columbus branch and drop off an item or two by December 15th. Everyone that makes a donation will receive a free gift from Bank of the Valley, and will be entered in a drawing for a $100 HyVee gift card (to be drawn on December 18).

Humphrey:

Bank of the Valley – Humphrey invites you to Give the Gift of Warmth this holiday season by taking part in their winter clothing drive. They will be accepting new or gently used Winter Clothing (coats, scarves, hats and mittens) for those in need. They will have a box in the first set of doors for the donated items. If you are in need, come look through the box, take what you need, and if not then CONSIDER GIVING! All items in the box on December 20 will the donated to the Rescue Mission.
